Unbox Studio

Ember

A hand-pumped espresso maker, launching on crowdfunding. The brand had to make a small metal tube feel like the best part of an early start.

Keep scrolling. The sleeve comes off, the lid says good morning, and Ember rises out of its tray.

The idea

Espresso before sunrise. Everything about Ember comes from the hour before the sun is up at camp: a midnight-blue box, a horizon of first light printed along the sleeve, and one ember-red detail on the product, the ring you grip while you pump. The mark is the sun, just clearing the horizon.

One print, four sides

The sleeve is printed flat, then wraps the box. The horizon runs all the way round, so the sunrise lines up on every side you turn to.

Sleeve 92 × 92 × 217 mm over a rigid box with a deep lid. "Good morning." is printed inside the lid.

The launch page

A pre-launch page that does one job: get people on the list before the campaign opens. The product leads, the facts are short, and the unboxing is the reason to share it.

Launch posts

Three posts for the week before launch: the product, how it works, and the moment you open the box.

What it should do

Make people want to hold it before they can buy it. Turn the unboxing into the thing people share. Give the campaign page one clear action: join the list.

Next projectAta

A pepper sauce label that tells you the heat before you open it.
